We provide access to counselling and financial assistance for victims of crime in NSW under the Victims Support Scheme. When a victim of crime receives financial support, we can recover money from the convicted person. The NSW Government supports victims and witnesses of crime by acknowledging their trauma and offering advice to navigate the justice process. Therapy dog teams offer support to victims of crime and ease the stress of attending court.

You must be the person named on the fine notice and you’ll need to provide some proof of identification such as your address, date of birth or driver’s licence number. You are not required to pay the fine but it may still appear on your driving record. After you submit your review, we will put your fine on hold while we investigate it. Make sure you request a review before the due date on the fine notice to avoid further costs or action.
